Do you Travel?
Yes! I am so glad you asked! Whether you're planning on a destination wedding/elopement, or a family vacation - I am more than happy to join to capture the memories so you can be present with those you love!
How long have you been doing this?
Professionally, since 2015. Admittedly, I have been obsessed with taking photos since I was young- seriously like 7 or 8. I've always been one with a camera in hand.
How many photos do we get?
This depends on the session, or package you choose! (Here's a secret: I typically overshoot and over deliver) So take a look at each package...see that "+" ? You'll likely get a lot more as long as weather, lighting, and everyone is cooperative and having a heck of a good time! Any great photo gets edited and delivered, don't worry I'll save you from the blinking or not so flattering photos :)
How do we get our photos?
Each gallery is delivered via private digital gallery! Here you can "heart" your favs, share with friends and family! From your gallery you can order prints easily, download to your devices and post to your social media as you want!
Do you retouch photos?
All photos are professionally edited to balance lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color tones (consistent with my portfolio). If there are minor blemishes, I will definitely retouch if you'd like! I do NOT photo shop based on weight, etc. You are beautiful, and I aim to capture you just as you are!!
Whats your turn around time?
For 1 hour sessions, typical turn around is 2 weeks. If you need them sooner, please let me know ahead of time so I can try to adjust my workflow! During wedding season, aka busy season I make my best effort to deliver wedding photos between 4 and 8 weeks after your wedding. I will send you updates along the way to keep you informed!
How do we book you?
Send me a message via email (info@gritgracelifestyle.com). This is the best way to reach me! Facebook and Instagram message sorting sometimes hides messages...so convenient right? When you email me, let me know what you'd like to book and date(s) you have in mind! I can check my schedule and get you booked after I send you the service agreement and retainer has been paid.
Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely! If there are planning needs you have, just let me know! Anything I am not able to coordinate on my own, I can also reach out to other professionals who specialize in the need (aka floral, hair, make up, venues, etc.). I am here to help as much as I can!
How far out do you book?
For 1 hour sessions, I like to have those booked a month in advance (if at all possible).
For weddings and elopements, I would like to book those at least 6 months to a year out. However, if you have an elopement in shorter notice- please reach out as I may have your date open!
The sooner, the better, but ya girl is pretty flexible and will do my best to make it happen!
What should we do for an engagement session?
There are so many incredible ideas out there! I always suggest my couples find a location that holds some importance to them! Your first date location, where they proposed, or your favorite pretty spot to drive to! It's all fair game! If you need help finding a dreamy spot near you, reach out! I'm happy to location scout for you!
What should we wear?
Great question!! Wear what you feel most comfortable and most confident in! Show off your personality, as there is no "perfect" outfit choice! My job is to document you, in your truest, most confident form! If that's a comfy pair of jeans and your trusty boots...then I got you! If you love to get glammed up, then do that! Neutral colors always compliment the outdoors, so don't freak trying to come up with the perfect outfit, you're perfect just as you are!
